So I recently picked up The Name of This Band is Talking Heads, and it’s definitely one of the best live albums I’ve ever heard. Even better than Stop Making Sense IMO. This was the standout track for me though, I don’t know why they never released a studio version for it. This might just be my new favorite Talking Heads song.

A rare gem from the overmeditated goo of the 80′s. I agree, I think it is their best stuff.
I don’t know if it is a studio track, it presents itself as a live recording. GLORIA … Van Morrison and John Lee Hooker.

I dont remember the name of the song or the band, but I saw a video once where this guy was walking around and started seeing numbers counting down over people’s heads.
When the numbers would reach zero, the people would die. I think at some point the guy saves someone’s life or does a good deed and his counter goes back up.
That is about all I have….anyone know the video I am talking about?
